NTC thermistor for temperature sensor is one where the thermistor chip is welded with leads by alloy soldering process then partially treated by glass sealing.
NTC is also known as Negative Temperature Coefficient. The 3950 NTC Thermistor is a thermally sesnitve resistors and the special feature of thesse 100K ohm thermistir is that, they exhibit a large change in resistance with only a small change in temperature. The thermistor is ideally used as a temperature sensor for 3D Printer Reprap. These thermistors are widely used as inrush current limiters, temperature sensors, self-resetting overcurrent protectors, and self-regulating heating elements.
